New Teacher Development Program:

To provide the necessary support for teachers in their first year through individual coaching, co-teaching and weekly professional development workshops.

Mediation Center- Alternative to Suspension : 

Program and curriculum development

Conduct mediations. Teach a class on violence prevention.

Workshop coordinator for The Bronx Peace Summit

Prepare students to conduct classroom presentations.

for H. S. girls. Advisory curriculum was developed that focused on encouraging positive social, emotional decision making

Young Men’s Initiative

Piloted the first class in NYC sponsored by Scholastic Books on the Young Men's Initiative.  Created a humanities curriculum focusing on the needs of

Black and Latino Boys

School Culture: Incentive Program for student improvement:

Curriculum writer for New York City Social Studies Department of Education. Curriculum includes the creation of historical narratives utilizing primary and secondary sources to create lessons aligned with the national common core standards and New York State Department of education social studies practices. (2015- 2017)

 

Curriculum writer for P.U.L.S.E High School advisory program.

Curriculum is based on character education, life skills, higher education, conflict resolution and career development. (2010)

 

Secondary education social studies curriculum for

Campaign for Fiscal Equity CFE v. New York State 1999.

Curriculum includes: lessons about the structure of government, the democratic process, school finance, the role of advocacy groups in promoting social change, and some of the legal issues raised in the CFE case.
